It all started with taking pictures of things and people, places that I love. Soon I was lost in a viewfinder finding my focus in the world outside the frame of my camera. A few months later, I realised that through the lens, I love the world that I see. A pair of feet, hands, eyes, lips, shoulders, a cat’s tail, a red door, a broken light switch, the sea, hair… Given your worldview (and the right lens) everything can be looked at with meaning. Everything holds within it the whole world of what you have seen, heard and learnt in all your life and that is what you end up photographing when you take a picture.
